Our original company was founded in 1958 by Phillip M. Wedgworth to serve the Alexander City/Lake Martin area. Our service reach was then extended into other parts of Alabama by his son Phillip L. Wedgworth. The 3rd generation has been passed the torch with Kevin Wedgworth. We plan to keep Envirocare a family-run business, upholding the values instilled by its founder.

The Alabama Pest Control Association was formed in 1947 to unite a new industry dedicated to the safety and health of our customers. The association's mission was to train this industry in pest control chemicals and the techniques with which they were applied.
Alabama Turfgrass Association
The Alabama Turfgrass Association is a non-profit organization established in 1961 to unite the supervising turfgrass management personnel of Alabama and Northwest Florida into a cooperative group for the collection, preservation, and dissemination of factual information concerning all aspects of their profession.
Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders (GBAHB)
The Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders is a trade association that represents more than 3,000 home building industry professionals in the greater Birmingham area for the building industry. These members include residential builders and other professionals, such as subcontractors, suppliers, financial institutions and real estate agents. GBAHB was established more than 50 years ago and has grown to be one of the top ten largest home builders associations in the nation. With a strong committed board of directors and active members and staff, the GBAHB exists to provide quality service to its members and to the Birmingham community.
